Hello. This website will provide useful infomation to the residents of the Town and Village of Webster in my role as Webster Village Trustee and member of our Webster community. I have involved in the politics of our Village and Town for over 15 years. I was first appointed to the Village Board in 2005, elected in 2006 and re-elected for a 4 year term in 2007. I was appointed Deputy Mayor in 2008. I am one of two appointees of the Mayor to the Business Improvement Committee and laision to the Village Band. I am also the laision to the new Village Parks and Recreation Committee and Board laision to the Village Hall. I believe very strongly that Village residents and the media should have broad access to the documents that we see as members the Village Board. There is great value in the Freedom of Information Act and the Open Meetings Laws. The fact is, though, that if we as elected officals were more open, we could just provide this information to the public without forms and delays. I hope by providing the information here, I might start a trend that will result in much more open government for all of our residents.
